Psychotherapy in Peterborough

UKCP registered psychotherapist, counsellor and supervisor working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship problems, bereavement, anger and other emotional or psychological difficulties brought on by past experience or current stresses.
Welcome to my website
My name is Diana Flanagan and I have been in practice as a therapist in Peterborough since the early 1990s. I also offer a limited number of sessions each week at Castle Bytham which is situated between Stamford and Grantham.
With good road and public transport access to Peterborough my clients come from a wide geographical area including Huntingdon, Oundle, Grantham, Stamford, Bourne, the Deepings, Spalding and Sleaford as well as from the city itself.
It is my belief that therapy is most effective when both therapist and client work together as equal partners to achieve a satisfactory outcome and I have been privileged to work with many men and women over the past 20 years who have addressed their concerns in therapy with thoughtfulness, courage and determination.
On the following pages you will be able to read about my background, training and professional registration and about the areas of psychological and emotional difficulty that I most often work with. There are also some thoughts about why psychotherapy or counselling can be helpful and details of what I offer with regard to assessment and on-going appointments.
Finally, there is information about how you can contact me, either with questions about any of the information on this website or to make an initial appointment.
